Job Description:

A global organisation undergoing a multi-phase HR transformation and Greenfield Workday implementation is looking for a Workday Time Tracking & Absence Consultant to join their growing HRIS team.

This is a fully remote, permanent role (based in Italy or Spain). You will lead the configuration and optimisation of the Time Tracking & Absence modules, collaborating with internal stakeholders and the implementation partner.

About the Role:

This hands-on position involves actively configuring Workday, shaping business processes, and ensuring a successful rollout of Time Tracking & Absence functionality as part of a wider transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the functional and configuration lead for Workday Time Tracking & Absence
  • Design, configure, and test business processes with Workday consultants and internal teams
  • Translate business needs into scalable Workday configurations
  • Execute core configuration tasks (eligibility rules, time codes, accruals, etc.)
  • Support integration with time clocks, payroll, and third-party tools
  • Lead SIT, UAT, and parallel testing
  • Create training documentation and deliver user training
  • Provide post-go-live support and knowledge transfer
Minimum Requirements:
  • 4–5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience (Time Tracking & Absence)
  • Workday implementation experience (in-house or consulting)
  • Strong understanding of HR, time, and absence business processes and compliance
  • Ability to work independently on complex configurations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven
