Werken Voor Nederland is seeking an Engineer UAS to contribute to drone airworthiness and asset management within the COMMIT framework. You will certify drones, manage DCACs, and liaise with operational users and maintenance teams to ensure safety and reliability.

The role requires a completed HBO/WO degree in aerospace engineering, proactive mindset, and strong Dutch and English communication skills. The position is based in Utrecht with a mix of on-site work and international collaboration.

Competenze

• Requires HBO/WO Bachelor or Master in aerospace engineering.
• Proactive and flexible work attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in Dutch and English.
• Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Access).
• Experience with Python or Matlab/Octave for analyzing large data sets (flight logs).

Mansioni

• Certify drones and manage the Design Conformity Assurance Certificate (DCAC).
• Support open and specific drone categories per EASA rules.
• Serve as first-line contact for technical and operational drone issues.
• Identify and implement improvements in functionality, reliability and maintainability.
