BCD Travel in Florence, Italy, is seeking a Senior Travel Agent to join our hybrid team. You will manage reservations, advise clients on policies, and ensure compliance with travel regulations while delivering outstanding service.

You should bring extensive travel agent experience, strong knowledge of industry rules, and advanced Amadeus GDS skills, along with fluent English and Italian communication to support our global client portfolio.

• Extensive travel agent experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of travel industry policies, procedures and processes.
• Advanced skills in GDS Amadeus and related tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Italian.

• Search and confirm travel reservations for clients.

Senior Travel Agent (Hybrid)

Full time, Firenze, Italy

As a Senior Travel Consultant, you are the face of our company. You’ll communicate and respond to requests for current and new clients, helping them travel smart and achieve more. Do you communicate effortlessly and have customer service at heart? – Read on!

As a Senior Travel Agent, you will

• Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer
• Have a strong understanding of a client travel policy and can consistently provide consultation to the customer
• Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.)
• Provide the client with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
• Seek opportunities to review operational processes and commercial relationships with client to provide suggestions for improvement
• Maintain, actively communicate, and seek expansion of current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported

About You

• Extensive Travel Agent experience
• Working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
• Advanced skills in GDS Amadeus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian

This position is advertised across multiple European locations. The expected annual gross salary ranges by country are as follows:

• Italy: 26,051 - 33,000 EUR

The final salary offered will ultimately depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and location, and will be determined in line with internal equity.
