Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician Test & Characterization Engineering to join the R&D laboratory team in Borgaro Torinese, Italy.

You will support power semiconductor characterization by maintaining measurement equipment, troubleshooting test systems, and contributing to lab instrumentation development. Ideal candidates have a technical diploma, 5+ years in electrotechnical environments, strong diagnostic skills, and hands-on calibration experience.

Competenze

• Diploma tecnico elettronico (Perito tecnico Elettronico) o equivalente.
• 5+ years in the electrotechnical field with measurement equipment and test instrumentation.
• Strong fault diagnosis using oscilloscope, multimeter, spectrum analyzer; reading schematics; soldering components.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards on test instruments.
• Metrology principles and hands-on calibration experience with measurement equipment.
• Test automation development using LabVIEW and CAD related board design software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; technical English for documentation and supplier communication.
• Teamwork and fast learner with ability to adapt to evolving procedures and tools.

Mansioni

• Manage hardware and software of electronic measurement instruments; draft manuals, operating instructions and maintenance procedures.
• Diagnose anomalies and failures on testers and related electronic boards; perform fault analysis and hardware repairs.
• Perform periodic calibrations and maintenance; define calibration methods and contribute to refinement of lab equipment.
