We are seeking a curious, skilled, and motivated Technology Architect to join our dynamic Cloud Success Services organization at SAP, with opportunities for rapid growth in the technical area. As a Technology Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our customers' digital transformation journey by supporting the positioning and selling cycle of new SAP technologies. You will also lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions based on SAP technologies.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, and technology teams to understand business objectives, identify opportunities, and define technology strategies aligned with SAP's product portfolio.
2. Design end-to-end enterprise solutions that meet business requirements, considering scalability, performance, security, and integration aspects.
3. Develop architectural governance, roadmaps, and implementation plans to guide the execution of technology initiatives.
4. Provide leadership and guidance to build architecture teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
5. Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
6. Ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices, promoting reusability and adherence to SAP's architectural principles.
7. Conduct technology assessments and facilitate decision-making processes to support solution adoption and investment prioritization.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex business challenges, resolve technical issues, and ensure successful project delivery.
9. Contribute to selling cycles of SAP Technology solutions (e.g., RISE and BTP) while maximizing customer value.
10. Play the Technical Architect role in SAP Implementation Projects, capable of activities like scope definition, customer presentations, technical solution design, Business Blueprint writing, leading offshore resources, designing project GANTT, producing high-quality deliverables, and identifying new business opportunities to expand SAP footprint.
11. Support SAP Partners in their implementations by providing best practices and guidelines to ensure successful SAP solution deployment.
12. Stay updated with the latest SAP technology advancements by participating in professional development activities.

Education, Skills, and Competencies

• Excellent communication skills in Italian (mandatory) and English.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, with a strong innovation attitude.
• Strong problem-solving skills in complex, multi-vendor environments.
• High proficiency with SAP Technology products (releases, platform interdependencies).
• Understanding of operational aspects of SAP solutions in a cloud environment.
• Knowledge of platform stacks (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks).
• Understanding of at least one Hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements.
• Experience in solution design, enterprise architecture, or SAP implementation (minimum 5 years).
• SAP certifications (e.g., S/4HANA, NetWeaver) are advantageous.
• Experience with SAP BTP, IaaS providers, SAP data centers, or performance analysis is beneficial.

Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years of customer-facing SAP consulting experience.
• Experience in SAP solution design, enterprise architecture, or SAP implementations.
• Additional experience in SAP certifications, cloud platforms, performance analysis, cybersecurity, or pre-sales roles is a plus.
