Amaris Consulting is seeking a Technical Safety Senior Engineer to join our Engineering team in Rome, Italy, supporting challenging Oil & Gas projects in an international environment.

You will perform risk assessments (HAZOP/HAZID, QRA, LOPA, SIL) and develop fire protection and fire & gas detection systems, while ensuring compliance with international safety standards. This role requires 10+ years of experience and a Master’s in a related field.

Competenze

• Master's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Safety or related Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in Technical Safety Engineering in Oil & Gas (Onshore/Offshore).
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Experience with HAZOP/HAZID, QRA, LOPA, SIL, FERA, EERA, SIMOPS.
• Proficiency with safety standards and design reviews.

Mansioni

• Perform Technical Safety Engineering activities for Oil & Gas projects (onshore and offshore).
• Carry out risk assessments including HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, LOPA, SIL, FERA, EERA and SIMOPS.
• Develop and review fire protection philosophies and fire & gas detection systems.
• Prepare and review Technical Safety documents (design basis, calculations, specs, reports).
• Support Hazardous Area Classification studies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and safety audits.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with international safety standards and project specs.
• Support multiple projects while identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
