Role Description :

We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer with a comprehensive technical profile, capable of working in complex datacenter environments, on wired and wireless networks , virtualized infrastructures, advanced security systems, Microsoft enterprise environments, and with a strong orientation toward complex problem solving and operational automation .

The candidate will be a key figure in the management and evolution of internal IT infrastructure and enterprise customers, with a comprehensive view of the systems lifecycle, from design to operational management.

Main responsibilities :

Management of datacenter infrastructure and distributed environments across multiple locations, including multi-tenant logic.

Administration of complex networks, wired and wireless, with HPE Aruba and Cisco equipment.

Configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Fortinet FortiGate firewalls (physical and virtual), including integration with AD, VPN management, ZTNA, and advanced policies.

Administration and tuning of VMware vSphere environments, with experience on other virtualizers (e.g., Hyper-V, Proxmox, etc.).

Management of DELL, HPE and Lenovo physical servers , and enterprise storage including TrueNAS , SAN / NAS HPE MSA .

Backup and disaster recovery with Veeam and related protection strategies, including the use of S3 / MinIO repositories.

Microsoft advanced administration : Active Directory , GPO , DNS / DHCP , Remote Desktop Services , Windows Server (2016 / 2019 / 2022) .

Microsoft 365 management, Exchange Online, Intune, UEM (preferably Baramundi ) and security policies (conditional access, device compliance, MFA).

Automation of IT operations with PowerShell , scripting, and integrated tools.

Proactive monitoring with PRTG , including threshold management, alerting, and dashboards.

Collaboration with NOC / SOC teams and active participation in continuous improvement, consolidation and infrastructure security projects.

Requirements

Technical skills required :

Minimum 5 years' experience in enterprise systems or MSP.

Mastery of technologies : VMware, Microsoft Server, FortiGate, Layer 2 / 3 HPE and Cisco networks.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments, GPO, RDS, AD Connect, MFA, Intune.

Experience in managing wired and Wi-Fi network infrastructure in enterprise environments.

Proficiency in the use of monitoring tools (PRTG or equivalent).

Familiarity with hardening, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.

Strong focus on documentation and automation of operations.

Initiative and aptitude for solving complex problems.

Ability to work under pressure, with defined priorities and SLAs.

Accuracy, reliability, and systemic vision.

Teamworking and propensity for knowledge sharing.

Preferred qualifications :

Technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Fortinet NSE4+, VMware VCP, Cisco CCNA / CCNP, ITIL).

Basic knowledge of Linux and open source environments.

Experience with automation solutions (e.g., Ansible, advanced scripting, orchestrators).
