The successful candidate will develop a new web-based information system on Azure, integrating and replacing existing legacy systems. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and professional knowledge of English, with skills in SQL Server and web development.

Backend Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team in Milan.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing a new web-based information system on Azure, designed to integrate and replace existing legacy systems.

• Understand the overall architecture of the system
• Analyze and develop new features
• Design and optimize SQL tables and queries
• Develop stored procedures and triggers
• Implement Web Services and APIs
• Integrate external services through APIs
• Perform unit testing and acceptance testing
• Provide support and training to users
• Debugging and bug resolution

Required Skills:

• SQL Server - T-SQL
• Azure SQL
• SQL Server Management Studio
• Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Database transactions and concurrent access
• Database monitoring and optimization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields
