Job Opportunity: Embedded Firmware Developer

We are seeking to expand our Software Development team, reporting directly to the Software Development Manager. This role involves collaborating with R&D, Operations, Industrialization, Quality, Sales, and Marketing departments. You will lead the design of embedded devices in the smart metering sector, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical supervision of firmware development in compliance with industry standards;
2. Active contribution to code development and review;
3. Planning, coordination, and monitoring of project activities (software, hardware, mechanical);
4. Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders (clients, suppliers, other company departments);
5. Overseeing project documentation and supporting certification and homologation processes;
6. Promoting team growth through mentoring, code reviews, and dissemination of best practices;
7. Adopting and promoting Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields;
• At least 5 years of experience in embedded firmware development;
• Excellent knowledge of C language and good knowledge of C++ and Agile methodologies, project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence);
• Fluent in English (written and spoken);
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with problem-solving abilities and time management;
• Experience in IoT or related fields;
• Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (wM-Bus, LoRa, NB-IoT, ZigBee);
• Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master).
