A leading engineering firm located in Milan, Italy, is seeking a Structural Engineer to supervise engineering for various projects. The role involves ensuring high-quality design, managing client interactions, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in structural engineering and excellent communication skills. Supervise the Structural Engineering for the assigned project.

Be a structural technical champion within the team.

Key Objectives:

• Ensure the provision of efficient high quality structural engineering design.
• Ensure that the structural engineering is developed in respect of Contract, Quality, Safety, and Environment requirements, within the specific Time Schedule and Cost.
• Support the Chief Civil & Structural Engineer in Interacting with the Client for the any structural engineering issue.
• Be the point of contact for structural design for contractors, design team and third parties

Responsibilities and duties:

• Develop structural calculation of main structural items on the projects
• Approve all structural engineering deliverables issued by the civil discipline for the projects.
• Propose optimization/changes in order to minimize quantity/costs or optimize project schedule
• Deliver multiple projects or parts of larger projects to completion, within budget and to program.
• Effectively manage own time which may be necessary if allocated to more than one project
• Maintain and develop the specific know-how pertaining to the Structural Engineering
• Prepare pre-calculation for quantity estimate purpose during bid phase
• Support Chief Civil & Structural Engineer in coordinating external engineering resources.
• Support the Chief Civil & Structural Engineer in case of dispute/claims related to the Structural Engineering
