Un'azienda leader nel settore delle costruzioni civili e industriali ricerca un Designer di strutture in acciaio. Il candidato ideale deve avere una laurea magistrale in ingegneria civile, con almeno 5 anni di esperienza nella progettazione di strutture e capacità di gestire progetti complessi. La posizione richiede anche una profonda conoscenza degli Eurocodici e competenze avanzate in software FEM e BIM. Si offre un contratto a tempo pieno con possibilità di lavorare a Milano.

Competenze

• Esperienza minima di 5 anni come progettista di strutture in acciaio.
• Competenze nella gestione di progetti complessi e proattività nella gestione del lavoro.

Mansioni

• Gestire le attività di progettazione per uno o più ordini.
• Preparare piani di assemblaggio e pianificazioni di sollevamento.

Descrizione del lavoro

• Plan, develop, and finalize design activities in compliance with applicable technical standards, contract conditions, and timelines;

Ensure, at every stage, that design goals are achieved on time and to the required quality.

Academic training :

• Master’s degree in civil engineering majoring in structures;

Desirable course of study focused on structural design.

Professional experience :

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a designer of steel structures and / or steel infrastructure and launching machinery / equipment;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in managing the design of steel structures and / or steel infrastructure and launching machinery / equipment;

Minimum 2 years of experience in developing assembly plans, lifting plans, and launching plans.

Knowledge of foreign languages :

• English : at least B2;

French : at least B2.

Responsibilities :

• Management of design activities for one or more orders in compliance with applicable technical standards, timelines, and defined contract conditions;
• Implementation of structural calculation models and drafting of calculation reports;
• Drafting of technical tables and support for drafting of graphic designs and / or models by CAD Specialist / BIM Specialist;
• Implement quality control procedures in the drafting of graphical and computational drawings entrusted to him / her;
• Preparation of estimated metric and bill of materials;
• Participate in site surveys and inspection visits;
• Prepare feasibility studies, reports, specifications, designs, calculations, and estimates;
• Support the construction phase to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards;
• Ensure the development of assigned tasks within assigned and shared time frames;
• Analyze design-specific risks, prevent any problems, and propose solutions to handle any issues that may arise during development;

Create and archive project documentation.

Required skills :

• Thorough knowledge of Eurocodes, NTCs, and building codes and standards in general;
• Knowledge of major structural calculation FEM software (SAP 2000, Straus 7, Ansys, Midas, etc.);
• Marked propensity for planning and aptitude for working for objectives independently in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment;
• Specific skills for managing complex projects;
• Critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to organize and optimize one’s work;
