Job Description Summary

ROLE

The Senior Statistical Programmer will support or lead statistical programming activities conducted on client clinical projects, producing high quality deliverables to agreed timelines following relevant standard operating procedures. The senior statistical programmer will also support in deploying resources effectively on projects.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

1. Act as support statistical programmer on clinical projects
2. Act as lead statistical programmer on clinical projects
3. Specify, program and validate CDISC SDTM and ADaM datasets
4. Specify, program and validate the statistical analysis results including analysis datasets, tables, listings and figures
5. Produce and review CDISC documentation
6. Create and validate randomization lists
7. Ensure compliance to SOPs
8. Report deviations, KPIs, customer complaints and managing CAPAs
9. Provide supervision on tasks carried out by statistical programmers
10. Provide guidance to programming team members on procedures and technical standards
11. Prepare and perform internal or external training on statistical programming techniques
12. Identify, implement and develop new techniques, solutions, tools and products
13. Identify areas for efficiency or process improvement
14. Lead internal initiatives to improve department processes
15. Communicate effectively with internal and external project teams
16. Report issues to Project Manager/Associate Director in an appropriate timeframe
17. Support Quality Assurance in internal audits
18. Conduct other statistical programming related activities as required

DESIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

1. BSc/MSc or equivalent with experience, preferably in Statistics, Computer Science, or Mathematics
2. At least 3 years of experience in statistical programming
3. Excellent SAS programming skills
4. Knowledge of R language is a plus
5. Very good knowledge of principles and techniques for clinical research
6. Good English communication
7. Good knowledge of MS Office Suite
