Job summary

Deel is seeking a senior Product Designer to lead the design vision for Deel’s AI vertical, shaping experiences across AI-powered products and developer tools. You will own end-to-end design strategy for Deel AI, Akai, and conversational interfaces, guiding a growing design team and collaborating with ML engineers and researchers to craft coherent, intelligent systems.

You will establish craft standards, champion user research, and drive cross-team alignment with design, product, and leadership

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a Product Designer in fast-paced environments.
• 3+ years at Staff level or above.
• Deep experience designing AI-powered products including conversational interfaces and intelligent automation.
• Portfolio demonstrating AI/ML product design and scaling experiences.
• Strong UI/UX/interaction/visual design for complex workflows.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Mentoring and growing designers.

In this role you will lead the design vision for Deel’s AI vertical, shaping AI-powered experiences across Deel’s platform. You’ll own end-to-end design strategy for Deel AI, Akai, conversational interfaces, agents, and developer tools, spanning in-chat flows to proactive notifications and human-in-the-loop interventions. You’ll collaborate with the Principal Designer to ensure a coherent, intelligent system and guide a growing design team to deliver high-impact AI experiences.
