Your Team, Your Impact

The ODSP team within Marvell’s Connectivity Business Group develops advanced products supporting industry-leading solutions for the growing data center, enterprise, optics, and AI applications. As a member of the ODSP validation team, you will work with multidisciplinary teams including analog, software, firmware developers, and PCB designers to develop hardware platforms, write device drivers, and scripts to fully validate cutting-edge products. Your role involves complex lab testing, hardware bring-up activities, and all facets of the prototype process including PCB fabrication and assembly.

What You Can Expect
  • Support system-level debugging for internal or external teams.
  • Analyze silicon bring-up, debug, and characterize Marvell’s internal IPs such as High-Speed SerDes for various products.
  • Evaluate and debug new features in PHY, develop driver firmware, collect performance data, and resolve application and production issues including Ethernet and PCIe products.
  • Provide technical support to top-tier customers, review designs, discuss questions, and help optimize performance.
  • Develop and execute validation test plans, automate testing with scripts in Python, VBA, MATLAB.
  • Generate test reports and write application notes.
  • Support customers technically and provide collateral documentation.
  • Act as the primary technical interface between the company and customers.
  • Qualify design activities at the customer engineering level and participate in defining new products and exploring new opportunities.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, or related field with five years of experience; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
  • Strong fundamentals in communication, transmission lines, electromagnetic, microwave theories.
  • Experience with test scripting in Python, VBA, MATLAB, or similar languages.
  • Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, TDRs, VNAs, logic analyzers.
  • Experience with high-speed SerDes PCB design and system application.
  • Ability to create validation test cases and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to travel.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
