Experteer Italy is seeking a Senior Specialist - Software Engineering (Data) to lead design and maintenance of enterprise-grade Java applications backed by databases. You will align technical deliverables with product goals, guide developers, and provide L3 support across the software lifecycle in a banking-adjacent environment.

You will collaborate with product owners, translate objectives into technical requirements, and ensure scalable, secure services with strong Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MS

• Extensive Java experience with enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong database skills across Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server.
• Experience with Spring, MVC, AOP, and messaging frameworks.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins and Maven.

Senior Java-focused lead developer role responsible for designing and maintaining enterprise-grade database-backed Java applications. You will align technical deliverables with product goals, guide developers, and provide L3 support across the software lifecycle. The role emphasizes strong Java expertise, database skills, and architectural patterns to ensure scalable, secure services. You’ll work closely with product owners to translate objectives into solid technical solutions. This position offers hands‑on impact in a banking‑adjacent environment with complex data and integration needs.

• Collaborate with product owners to translate business objectives into technical requirements
• Analyze change requests, design solutions, and guide implementation
• Support development teams and oversee design, testing, and modification phases
• Participate as part of the L3 support team
• Design specifications and develop solutions per functional and technical design
• Bug fixing and enhancements of work packages and services
• Build and maintain IT solutions using Java technologies
• Participate in root cause analysis of incidents and effort estimation
