Alfasigma is seeking a Senior Specialist, Finance Solution Expert – Accounting for our Global IT Core Applications team, based in Bologna or Milan, Italy. The role focuses on evolving SAP S/4HANA Finance, Accounting, and Treasury landscapes by aligning business needs with scalable digital solutions.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related field.
• 4-5 years of experience with SAP Finance and Accounting solutions, preferably in SAP S/4HANA.
• Good knowledge of SAP FI processes, GL, AP, AR, asset accounting, tax, closing and reporting.
• Familiarity with Treasury processes such as cash management, liquidity planning, payments, bank statements, reconciliations.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Sr. Specialist, Finance Solution Expert – Accounting to join our Global IT Core Applications team, based in Bologna or Milan, Italy.

Scope of the role:

The role supports the evolution of Alfasigma’s SAP S/4HANA Finance, Accounting, and Treasury landscape, connecting business needs with scalable digital solutions. You will work closely with Accounting, Finance, Treasury, IT teams, and external partners to improve financial processes, strengthen reporting, closing, cash management, and treasury capabilities, and support data-driven decision-making across an international environment.

Your role:

• Drive continuous improvement of Accounting, Finance, and Treasury processes through SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Contribute to SAP FI and Treasury enhancements, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, bank accounting, tax, intercompany, period-end closing, cash management, payments, bank connectivity, liquidity planning, and financial reporting.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and practical system solutions.
• Support integration with other SAP areas such as CO, MM, SD, Treasury, Group Reporting, and related finance applications, ensuring consistent end-to-end finance processes.
• Contribute to SAP transformation initiatives, rollouts, upgrades, testing, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Support incidents, service requests, change requests, and user adoption initiatives.
• Promote process standardization, knowledge sharing, and SAP best practices across business and IT teams.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience with SAP Finance and Accounting solutions, preferably in SAP S/4HANA.
• Good knowledge of SAP FI processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, tax, period-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Treasury processes such as cash management, liquidity planning, payments, bank statement management, bank reconciliations, and bank connectivity is appreciated.
• Understanding of SAP integration with CO, MM, SD, Treasury, Group Reporting, and related finance processes.
• Experience in requirements gathering, testing, troubleshooting, user support, and system improvements.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori, e-invoicing, bank connectivity, payment automation, or finance/treasury automation solutions is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, collaboration skills, ownership, learning agility, and customer orientation.
