Job summary

Revolv Space in Turin, Italy is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to own core electronics design, analysis and testing while preparing hardware for high-volume manufacturing.

Requirements include a Master’s in Electrical Engineering and 8–12 years of board-level product experience, plus hands-on EMC/EMI testing and radiation-aware design. The role offers a hybrid work model with occasional remote work and an equity opportunity.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 8-12 years of experience as an Electronics Design Engineer with full-lifecycle board-level products.
• Experience with design and testing of actuators, especially precision stepper and BLDC motors; GaNFET-based drivers is a plus.
• Hands-on EMC/EMI testing, pre-compliance and qualification.
• Knowledge of radiation phenomena and impact on electronics; radiation analysis and testing.
• Understanding heat generation and transfer in electronics.
• Reliability analysis methods (MIL-HDBK-217) and FMECA/FMEA in design/production.
• Experience scaling electronics from prototypes to high-volume production.
• Proficient in setting up automated testing pipelines and basic scripting (Python, C, C++).
• Familiarity with DFM, DFT, DFA early in hardware design.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCB/PCBA/FPC electronics design, schematic capture, component selection, board bring-up.
• Serve as technical authority for hardware trade-offs among performance, cost, and manufacturability.
• Apply and validate design changes to existing electronic systems (prototype to qualification).
• Analyze electronic systems for EMC/EMI, heat transfer, radiation robustness, reliability.
• Plan and execute qualification campaigns for space-grade electronic systems.
• Embed testability (DFT) and automation into early hardware design phases.
• Define and implement End-of-Line testing, EOL protocols, and automated test equipment setups.
• Optimize designs for high-volume manufacturing (DFM) and supply chain reliability.
• Collaborate with system integrators and contract manufacturers for assembly/testing pipelines.
