The Red Hat Sales team is seeking a Senior Solution Architect with deep technical expertise in AppDev or Infrastructure to join us in Milan, Italy.

In this role, you will create possibilities, solve problems, and establish working relationships with our customers. You will help our customers invest in solutions from across the Red Hat portfolio that provide a competitive advantage. Additionally, you will support field sales account managers in managing accounts in the commercial market, including small and medium enterprises. As an Account Solution Architect, you need technical expertise, a passion for open source, a thorough understanding of business processes, and the ability to identify and create business solutions across multiple technology platforms at an enterprise level. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be a key part of the first impression our customers have of Red Hat.

What you will do :

1. Act as the chief technologist for the account and a trusted advisor to the customer's technical teams;
2. Lead technical sales conversations, explaining how Red Hat's portfolio and architected solutions address customer requirements;
3. Gather technical information about the customer and identify opportunities;
4. Own the Technical Landscape and the Success Plan, influencing the overall Account Plan;
5. Demonstrate how Red Hat's portfolio can solve customer problems through discussions and demos;
6. Identify and mitigate technical sales issues;
7. Work closely with the Sales Account Manager to align with strategy and coordinate the extended sales team.

What you will bring :

• Experience with Kubernetes ecosystem, enterprise automation technologies, Linux operating systems, and Cloud Service Providers (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP);
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts, tools, best practices, and Application Development;
• Experience with Java and/or Go programming languages;
• Ability to translate technical knowledge into proposals, presentations, demos, and customer workshops;
• Ability to coordinate resources and influence stakeholders internally and externally;
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian;
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
