STMicroelectronics is seeking a highly skilled SW Functional Safety Senior Engineer for the GPAM division to contribute to safety activities for automotive and industrial embedded software on STM32 and Stellar MCUs.

You will ensure compliance with safety standards, support safety-certified products, and work across multi-site teams. A Master in Electronic Engineering or CS and >5 years experience are expected; C programming and RTOS familiarity are required.

Competenze

Master degree in Electronic engineering or Computer science or similar.
>5 years experience in field.
Knowledge of ISO 26262, SEooC concepts, ASIL decomposition.
Safety lifecycle management.
Safety analyses and confirmation measures.
Familiarity with IEC 61508 and IEC 60730.
Good programming skills in C is mandatory.
Experience in development/integration of RTOS low level drivers, middleware, applications, and toolchains.
Software integration and verification.
Microcontrollers and SoCs.
Good knowledge of ARM based platforms is a plus.
HW debuggers and analysis tools are a plus.
Automotive SPICE or similar SW QA standards awareness.

Mansioni

Contribute to software functional safety activities for automotive and industrial embedded software.
Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 / IEC 60730 and other safety standards.
Support development of safety-certified software products, safety libraries and AUTOSAR-based solutions.
Collaborate with multi-site teams in multi-cultural projects context.
