ASM is seeking a Senior Software Engineer based in Singapore to lead complex software initiatives for advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will guide investigations, shape system architecture, and push AI-enabled development across global product platforms.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability, safety, and performance while delivering high-quality software that scales with customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree requirement with 7+ years of relevant experience (or higher for advanced degrees).
• Proven experience in C++ and/or C# development.
• Strong knowledge of multi-threaded application development.
• Experience with software specifications, documentation, and APIs.
• Knowledge of memory architecture, debugging, and performance analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and generative AI practices.
• Willingness to travel 10–25% domestically and internationally.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical investigations involving software-related safety interlocks and validate actions.
• Analyze cross-subsystem interactions for end-to-end platform understanding.
• Drive RCCA actions using logs, captures, and system troubleshooting.
• Design and improve subsystem architectures, including multi-threaded apps.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain software for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex software, including real-time control systems.
• Serve as escalation point for field engineers and customers.
• Collaborate with QA and Support to improve regression tests.
