Eight Sleep is seeking an experienced Senior iOS Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will ship native iOS apps using Swift, SwiftUI, and Combine, and collaborate with backend, firmware, ML, and cross-functional teams.

You’ll thrive in a hyper-growth startup, uphold high product quality, perform code reviews, and optimize app performance to deliver health tech innovations that power sleep fitness and a data-driven recovery experience.

The Role

The mobile app is our primary point of interaction with members. It allows users to control and configure our product and helps them gain insights. You will work very closely with other Engineers (backend, firmware, ML), departments (R&D, Growth, Hardware), and Executives (CEO, CPO, VPs).

We are looking for an experienced Senior iOS Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate has experience within a hyper-growth start-up that has shipped pixel-perfect mobile apps with beautiful animations. We want someone with a high bar for product quality, technical prowess, and a passion for health tech and wellness. You will conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and optimize the app performance to enhance the experience of our members.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• 6+ years of shipping high-quality features for native iOS apps
• Expertise with Swift
• Mastery of SwiftUI and Combine
• Experience working with various architectures and modularized projects
• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with Swift’s evolution in recent years
• Familiarity with CI/CD, codegen/projectgen tools
• Experience working at a consumer products company focusing on health and wellness.
• Experience working with App Extensions (Apple Watch, Widgets, Siri)
