Role and Responsibilities

1. Designing, coding, and debugging software.
2. Improving the performance of existing software.
3. Providing training to other engineers.
4. Maintaining and upgrading existing software.
5. Recommending new technologies that can help increase productivity.
6. Supervising and overseeing the technical aspects of projects.
7. Investigating software-related complaints and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal software performance.
8. Regularly attending team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and put forward solutions to any issues.

Your skills and experience

1. You are comfortable with one or more of the following programming paradigms: Object-oriented programming, Concurrent programming, Functional programming, Asynchronous programming.
2. You are comfortable with one or more programming languages and related ecosystems among Java, C++, .NET, JavaScript, Typescript.
3. You are comfortable with ATDD and TDD tools and practices.
4. You are comfortable with CI tools and best practices.
5. You are comfortable with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Docker, AWS, and IDE required to be effective in your daily job (Eclipse, Visual Studio Code).
6. You are used at dealing with complexity.
7. You are comfortable at understanding functional requirements and you are able to contribute to the implementation of the identified solutions aimed at resolving non-functional needs.
8. You have been successfully working as a Software Engineer in demanding environments for 3+ years.
9. You understand complexities and value in working in multi-functional, self-organized teams.
10. You are rigorous and professional in the way you approach your daily job.
11. You value the team and individuals; you are comfortable to relate to people of any seniority and role within the company.

Your academic background

A Bachelor of Science (BSc), Master of Science (MSc), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in STEM fields, with a preference for degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science.

Contract Type

Full-time, permanent contract.
