A growing Telecoms firm based in Rome is seeking a Senior Software Developer to work on cloud applications and API development. The role requires 2–3 years of experience in PHP or Node, and familiarity with AWS or GCP. This position is hybrid, requiring office attendance twice a week. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a desire to mentor teams in the future.

Senior Software Developer – Rome

We're a growing Telecoms business in Rome, hybrid basis, with 500+ clients. We need a Senior Engineer for API‑first, UI, SaaS, and cloud development. 2–3 years of PHP/Node experience, confidence in AWS or GCP, optional Telecom or NP experience. Ability to lead/mentor teams in the future is desirable.

Tech Stack (not all required)

• PHP, Laravel
• Node, Express, NestJS
• AWS or GCP, Rest APIs, PostgreSQL

Role Responsibilities

• Backend: 2–3 years experience with PHP or Node
• Cloud: Confidence working in AWS or GCP
• Network Programming (optional): Telecom or NP experience
• Self‑starter, pick up various tasks
• Desire to learn new technologies and push skillset
• Client‑facing role with strong stakeholder management
• Ambition to lead/mentor teams in the future
• Comfortable supporting the wider team and other developers

Office Working

Twice a week in the Rome office.
