Senior Software Engineer

Location : Flexible - Italy

Salary : 60,000 - 100,000 USD per year

Description

We are looking for driven team members who want to join us on our mission to lead cloud security globally.

What you will do

• Report to the Engineering Manager and work as part of a team of expert developers on the core backend of the Sysdig Monitor Product.
• Solve challenging problems related to scalability and performance in a complex distributed system to build reliable components.
• Collaborate with a talented team focused on building the best product possible, continuously improving our work.

What you will bring with you

4+ years of experience in Java or Golang, with strong coding skills.

Hands-on experience building horizontally scalable components.

Experience with distributed systems such as Cassandra, Kafka, or similar.

Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, etc.) and Kubernetes.

What we look for

Ability to excel in a cross-team environment, contributing to technical and product discussions.

Willingness to participate in professional development to stay current with industry trends.

Fluency in English.
