We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to join our remote team!

Are you passionate about building scalable backend systems and working with modern backend technologies? We’re seeking a mid-level backend developer with hands-on experience in backend development, web servers, and microservice architectures.

You’ll be working on an ambitious project in a remote-first team, contributing to the core backend of our product.

What you’ll bring :

• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages : TypeScript (Node.js), Python, Go, Rust, or C# (ASP.NET)
• Solid understanding of web servers and backend development practices
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Docker for containerized environments
• Familiarity with Redis and at least one popular message broker (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, NATS)
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn

Nice to have :

• Experience with Kubernetes or Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Awareness or experience in cybersecurity best practices
• Knowledge of Bitcoin and Lightning Network protocols
• Working experience on Bitcoin and Lightning Network-related projects
• Experience with payment processors, crypto exchanges, and third-party API integrations
