Senior Software Engineer

Location: Flexible - Italy

Salary: 60,000 - 100,000 USD per year

Description

We are seeking motivated individuals to join us in leading cloud security worldwide.

What you will do

• Report to the Engineering Manager and collaborate with a team of expert developers working on the core backend of the Sysdig Monitor Product.
• Address challenging problems related to scalability and performance in a complex distributed system to build reliable components.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on building the best possible product, continuously improving our work.

What you will bring with you

• At least 4 years of coding experience in Java or Golang.
• Hands-on experience developing horizontally scalable components.
• Experience with distributed systems such as Cassandra, Kafka, or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, etc.) and Kubernetes.
