Job Description: Senior Back-end Engineer at XTEL

We are a professional team of recruiting specialists searching for talents in Ukraine, Europe, and the USA. Currently, we are looking for a Senior Back-end Engineer for XTEL. The Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for product design and implementation, supporting field sales management and trade optimization processes, and managing complex planning and execution activities. You will play a key role in transforming the solution to SaaS, focusing on refactoring and service transformation.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development and refactoring of product capabilities, analyzing key information, and providing insightful technical recommendations.
2. Support design reviews to ensure solutions align with architecture, security, scalability, and maintainability standards.
3. Gather requirements, design, implement, deploy, and monitor services in production.
4. Estimate development efforts for new features and enhancements collaboratively within the Scrum team.
5. Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and community.
6. Develop and maintain high-quality, secure, and efficient software.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, UX designers, other developers, and sales/marketing professionals, mainly working on a SaaS solution based on Microsoft technologies and hosted on Azure.
8. Assist in architecting solutions to support sales management and trade processes.

Qualifications:

1. Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
2. Experience in legacy code refactoring.
3. Proficiency in C# programming.
4. Practical experience with SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
5. Experience writing unit and integration tests.
6. Fluent English communication skills.
7. Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including SDLC, coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
8. Experience developing distributed, scalable, high-volume transaction systems.
9. Experience working in a microservices architecture.
10. Database query performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
11. Experience in the Consumer Goods/Retail sector and understanding of commercial processes is advantageous.
