One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test in Italy .

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join a dynamic development team working on an API-first platform. In this role, you'll focus on maintaining the quality, scalability, and security of services by collaborating closely with developers and contributing to the testing lifecycle. You'll be part of a team building a modern service catalog, ensuring code reliability and performance across frontend and backend systems. If you're passionate about automation, efficient development processes, and continuous improvement, this position is for you.

Accountabilities :

• Collaborate with developers to review pull requests and understand new feature code
• Write and maintain automated tests to prevent regressions and ensure software quality
• Participate in on-call rotations to support services in production
• Proactively identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvements
• Design and implement solutions to technical testing challenges
• Ask clarifying questions and communicate effectively in team discussions
• Adapt to incomplete documentation by analyzing code and behavior directly
• 5+ years of experience in software development and testing within collaborative teams
• Proficiency in Typescript and Javascript ; experience with Vue is a plus
• Strong background in developing and supporting large-scale SaaS platforms
• Hands-on experience with Cypress , Playwright , or similar test automation tools
• Solid understanding of Git and GitHub workflows
• Skilled in test planning, strategy definition, execution, and reporting
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
