One of our partner companies in Italy is currently hiring for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).

We seek an experienced and proactive SDET to join a dynamic team working on an API-first platform. Your focus will be on maintaining service quality, scalability, and security by collaborating with developers and contributing to the testing lifecycle. You will be part of a team building a modern service catalog, ensuring code reliability and performance across frontend and backend systems. Accountabilities:

1. Collaborate with developers to review pull requests and understand new feature code.
2. Write and maintain automated tests to prevent regressions and ensure software quality.
3. Participate in on-call rotations to support production services.
4. Identify inefficiencies proactively and drive continuous improvements.
5. Design and implement solutions for technical testing challenges.
6. Communicate effectively and ask clarifying questions during team discussions.
7. Analyze code and behavior directly to adapt to incomplete documentation.
8. Bring 5+ years of experience in software development and testing within collaborative teams.
9. Have a strong background in supporting large-scale SaaS platforms.
10. Possess hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, or similar test automation tools.
11. Understand Git and GitHub workflows well.
12. Be skilled in test planning, strategy, execution, and reporting.
13. Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
