Descrizione del lavoro

AeroVect is seeking a passionate simulation engineer to own and extend the test and evaluation tooling for our autonomous ground handling platform. You will drive determinism, reproducibility, and robust gate criteria across the simulation stack to enable safe, reliable releases.

You will integrate with CARLA, Gazebo, ROS/ROS2, and NVIDIA Omniverse, run scalable scenario executions in the cloud, and build diagnostics that surface performance bottlenecks and flaky failures for the V&V team.

Competenze

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field relevant to autonomous systems
  • Strong Python skills with maintainable code in a shared codebase
  • Hands-on simulation experience for autonomous systems with platforms such as CARLA, Gazebo, or similar
  • Experience with Docker, Linux, distributed systems, and CI/CD
  • Experience analyzing simulation outputs to identify bottlenecks and failure modes
  • Debugging and profiling skills for GPU-bound distributed systems

Mansioni

  • Own and extend the simulation tooling and test quality
  • Extend integration with autonomy stack and environmental/operational scenarios
  • Build and operate cloud-based scenario execution, orchestration and result aggregation
  • Develop evaluation layers: precise pass/fail criteria to gate releases
  • Create failure-triage tooling and dashboards for V&V teams
  • Extend scenario authoring tooling across backend/frontend
  • Maintain determinism and extend coverage to new maps/sites
