The Role

As a Senior Service Design and Strategist for Kyndryl Vital Italy, you will lead innovative projects, model co-creative, human-centered behaviors, and serve as a design strategist and leader. You will guide co-creation phases, provide insights, and deliver high-quality solutions. You will advocate for human-centered design, build awareness, and work with global leaders to identify high-potential projects, adding value to customer experiences.

You will collaborate with business leaders, partners, and stakeholders to define problems, design solutions, and enable implementation. You will influence local and global ways of working, connect with global teams, and contribute to case studies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and facilitate workshops and experiences internally and with customers.
  • Lead research, problem definition, idea generation, and service blueprinting.
  • Ensure workshop outcomes are summarized and extended into revenue opportunities.
  • Champion design thinking and collaboration both internally and externally.
  • Communicate strategy and value proposition clearly.
  • Support thought leadership and reputation building.
  • Support operations, growth, and revenue generation for Kyndryl Vital in Italy.

Who You Are

Required Skills

  • Proven success in design, strategic thinking, leadership, and human-centered engagement.
  • 10+ years in human-centered design, strategy, and co-creation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and new challenges.
  • Systems thinking and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Business acumen and ability to create high-level business cases.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in service design.
  • Skilled in co-creation journey design and tool development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Interest and knowledge in technology.
  • Strong presentation skills in pre-sales contexts.
  • Attention to stakeholder relationships and language.

Preferred Skills

  • Industry-specific experience.
  • Experience in IT enterprise or environments.
  • Participatory design and research expertise.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure or technical applications.
  • Understanding of human behavior and change management.
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools like Microsoft Suite, Miro, Mural.
  • Experience with DesignOps or related methodologies.
