Docebo seeks a Senior Security Engineer to own the security posture of our AWS cloud, collaborating with Cloud Infrastructure, Operations and Engineering. You will implement secure controls across IaC pipelines and container environments, align with MITRE ATT&CK for Cloud, and drive rapid remediation with engineering teams.

The role requires hands-on cloud security, container security, automation skills, and the ability to operate in a high-ownership, on-call capable team.

• 5+ years of battle-tested cybersecurity experience securing high-scale AWS environments (IAM, SCPs, KMS).
• Hands-on kubernetes security: RBAC, PodSecurity, network policies, image supply chain.

The Adventure Ahead

As our Senior Security Engineer, you will be the ultimate guardian of Docebo's cloud frontier, taking absolute ownership of our AWS infrastructure's security posture. You will collaborate hand-in-hand with Cloud Infrastructure, Operations, and Engineering teams to architect, deploy, and elevate cutting‑edge controls across every layer of our technology stack—from IaC pipelines to container orchestration. This high‑impact role gives you the autonomy to outsmart cloud threats, pioneer automated defenses, and play a direct role in protecting the platform that empowers millions of learners worldwide.

The Day-to-Day

• Fortify the Cloud: Own the security posture of Docebo's AWS environments by defining and enforcing secure account structures, service control policies (SCPs), guardrails, and baseline configurations across multi‑account setups.
• Shift‑Left Security: Partner closely with Cloud Infrastructure teams to integrate proactive security controls, guardrails, and automated scanning directly into IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead the Defense: Build, maintain, and tune cloud‑native threat detection coverage (aligned with MITRE ATT&CK for Cloud) leveraging CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and SIEM integrations, while participating in our incident response on‑call rotation.
• Crush Vulnerabilities: Own vulnerability and configuration management across cloud workloads, utilizing CSPM and CWPP/CNAPP tools to prioritize risks and drive rapid remediation with engineering teams.
• Enforce Least Privilege: Architect and refine robust identity boundaries across AWS IAM, service accounts, and federated systems, reducing standing access and implementing Just‑In‑Time (JIT) access where appropriate.
• Champion Best Practices: Develop, document, and evangelize elite cloud security standards, runbooks, and policies to cultivate a deeply security‑aware engineering culture across Docebo.
• Manage Vendor Alliances: Maintain and optimize critical relationships with security vendors to ensure our specialized tools and technical services run smoothly, escalating complex edge cases when required.

Your Superpowers

• Cloud Security Expertise: 5+ years of battle‑tested experience in cybersecurity, with a deep, hands‑on focus securing high‑scale production AWS environments (IAM, SCPs, KMS, VPC, CloudTrail).
• Container Specialist: Strong command of Kubernetes security infrastructure, including hands‑on experience with RBAC, pod security standards, network policies, and container image supply chain risks.
• Automation & Scripting Mastery: Fluent in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting languages (like Python or Bash) to develop custom security tools, automate manual reviews, and accelerate response workflows.
• Detection Engineering Mindset: Well‑versed in SIEM tools, threat hunting, and applying advanced frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Benchmarks, NIST CSF, and AWS Well‑Architected Pillars.
• High‑Ownership Operational Leader: Calm under pressure, comfortable participating in an on‑call rotation, and capable of translating complex cloud risks into clear, actionable technical documentation for cross‑functional peers.

• Multi‑Cloud Versatility: Production‑level security exposure or familiarity extending across Azure or GCP environments.
• Industry Certifications: Holding specialized cloud or security credentials such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect, or certifications from ISC2, ISACA, SANS, or CompTIA.
