Eutelsat is seeking a Satellite Telecommunications Payload Digital Electronics Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and life‑cycle management of digital payload equipment for satellite communications. You will collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers, and space agencies to ensure reliable, validated performance across mission lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the design, development, qualification, and in-orbit validation of satellite electronic equipment.
• Strong knowledge of digital hardware, FPGA and ASIC technologies, and embedded software.
• Experience with lifecycle management from requirements to in-orbit operation.
• Ability to lead supplier reviews, design and test activities, and anomaly investigations.

Responsabilités

• Provide senior-level expertise in architecture and design of digital telecommunications payload equipment (digital hardware, FPGA, ASIC, embedded software).
• Develop, refine, and maintain technical specifications and equipment requirements across payload, spacecraft, and mission objectives.
• Oversee lifecycle of digital payload equipment from specification to in-orbit validation and acceptance.
• Monitor suppliers and partners to ensure alignment with contractual and programme requirements.
• Support procurement and technical management, including RFPs, SOWs, and technical evaluations.
• Evaluate proposals focusing on architecture, performance, interfaces, risk, and reliability.
• Review designs to ensure compatibility with payload and spacecraft architectures.
• Represent Eutelsat in technical meetings and reviews; coordinate with prime contractors and space agencies.
