Job Description

Role: Senior SAP Time Management Consultant

The Global PY department is responsible for:

• Technical maintenance of outsourced SAP HR solutions of our clients, module SAP TM;
• Modification of the solution after delivery to correct possible faults, to improve performance or other attributes, and to adapt the product to a modified environment;
• Stabilize, optimize, and extend the applications so that functionality continues to meet the clients’ changing needs.

The SAP TM Consultant is a member of the Global PY department. His role is to provide appropriate application maintenance consultancy to Alight outsourced clients through advice, guidance, technical support, and problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

Integrated into the Global PY department and under the supervision of a Team Manager, as an AMO TM Consultant you will be involved in supporting our outsourced clients as follows:

• Provide application support consultancy through advice, guidance, and appropriate technical activities;
• Manage tickets after receiving functional analysis and guidance or coaching on the technical implementation;
• Generate easy-to-maintain, bug-free code and customizations respecting Alight's best practices;
• Operate required system tests using provided or self-generated test data to ensure the applications meet the specifications;
• Provide documentation (both technical and functional) on issues handled;
• Manage daily priorities and assigned tickets, ensuring deadlines are met;
• Regularly report on status and progress to the AMO Team Manager;
• Maintain internal and external communication channels, conveying status, resolution, and root cause of issues;
• Understand the general flows in HR and the SAP HR architecture.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Strong interest in delivering high-quality support in Human Resources;
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and achieve quality standards;
• Service-oriented with a strong client focus and sense of accountability;
• Commitment to the customer, team, and project;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Understanding of SAP HR solution architecture and good knowledge of SAP HR Time Management module;
• Ability to translate functional descriptions into technical solutions;
• Application maintenance experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• 7 or 8 years of experience in SAP HR Time Management modules;
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
