Job Description : Senior Sales Manager (Air & Ocean Freight)

They maintain their autonomy while leveraging the resources and support of their parent company to drive growth. They are seeking a Senior Sales Manager for their expanding Air and Ocean Freight operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on senior commercial manager who can work autonomously and develop new verticals. Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Development : Drive growth across multiple products and freight sales strategies to expand business in new and existing markets.
- Business Expansion : Establish and develop new verticals, supporting the company's growth ambitions in Italy.
- Client Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including those in sectors like food and beverage, project cargo, and luxury goods.
- Team Support : Support a small but growing sales team, fostering a collaborative and energetic sales culture.
- Market Growth : Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Italy, with flexibility regarding regions.
- Global Collaboration : Leverage knowledge and support from a global leader to drive new business and enhance the company's presence in Italy and internationally.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Strong background in ocean freight; experience in air freight and road transport is advantageous.
- Specialisation : Experience in sectors like food and beverage, project cargo, or luxury goods is beneficial.
- Location : Ideally based in Milan, Tuscany, Venice, Genoa, or Rome, with ability to grow business locally.
