This client seeks a Senior Sales Manager to lead their expanding Air and Ocean Freight operations. The role involves working autonomously to develop new verticals and drive business growth in a dynamic environment, offering a key leadership opportunity within a thriving logistics business.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Development : Drive growth of multiple products and freight sales strategies, expanding business in new and existing markets.
- Business Expansion : Establish and grow new verticals, contributing to the company's expansion in Italy.
- Client Relationships : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including sectors like food and beverage, project cargo, and luxury goods.
- Team Support : Support a small but growing sales team, fostering a collaborative and energetic sales culture.
- Market Opportunities : Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Italy, with regional flexibility.
- Global Collaboration : Leverage support from a global leader to drive new business and enhance the company's international presence.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Strong background in ocean freight; experience in air freight and road transport is a plus.
- Specialisation : Experience in verticals like food and beverage, project cargo, or luxury goods is advantageous.
- Location : Ideally based in Milan, Tuscany, Venice, Genoa, or Rome, with ability to develop local business.
