This company seeks a Senior Sales Manager for their expanding Air and Ocean Freight operations. Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Development : Drive the growth of multiple products and freight sales strategies, ensuring business expansion in new and existing markets.
- Business Growth : Establish and develop new verticals, contributing to the company's expansion efforts in Italy.
- Client Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including those in sectors such as food and beverage, project cargo, and luxury goods.
- Team Leadership : Support and lead a small but growing sales team, fostering a collaborative and energetic sales culture.
- Market Expansion : Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Italy, with flexibility regarding regional focus.
- Global Collaboration : Leverage support from a global leader to drive new business and strengthen the company's presence in Italy and internationally.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Strong background in ocean freight; experience in air freight and road transport is a plus.
- Specialisation : Experience in verticals such as food and beverage, project cargo, or luxury goods is advantageous.
- Location : Ideally based in Milan, Tuscany, Venice, Genoa, or Rome, with ability to grow business in local territories.
