About the Role

Senior Sales Manager for Digital Grid

This role involves leading sales and marketing efforts for the Digital Grid (DG) portfolio within the Grid Technology sales area at Siemens Energy. You will execute company strategies, develop regional opportunity pipelines, and serve as the main contact between GT S and DG.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Interact with potential partners, TSOs, DSOs, Renewables, IPP developers, EPCs
  • Identify strategic growth areas and develop business opportunities
  • Drive marketing activities like fairs, conferences, and promotions
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback and win/loss data
  • Use Salesforce and other tools to track sales funnel progress
  • Manage pipeline and prioritize market approaches
  • Participate in Monthly Business Reviews with regional management

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in power transmission and distribution, preferably in Protection and Control
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Experience in promoting HV/MV solutions and digital offerings
  • Knowledge of high & medium voltage applications, power systems, and renewable energy
  • Understanding of Grid Automation industry trends and competitors
  • Customer needs analysis and project lifecycle understanding
  • Extensive network in Utilities, Industries, and Renewable Energy sectors
  • Customer relationship and partnership management skills
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English and Italian, both oral and written
