Competenze

LANXESS Italy is seeking motivated and talented individuals with sales and technical experience for the position of Senior Sales Manager Material Protection Products – Industrial Business line portfolio (MPP BU).

Geographical scope : Italy (travel within Europe expected)

The products and applications focus on paints & coatings and construction chemicals markets.

Main Responsibilities :

Develop customer strategies and business cases to ensure BU MPP Sales Biocides growth within the overall BU MPP strategy framework.

Key responsibilities :

  • Lead MPP IND sales in Italy and Greece.
  • Manage existing customer portfolio, ensuring quality technical and regulatory support.
  • Identify new opportunities and potential customers.
  • Visit customers to assess needs and promote products and services.
  • Provide or facilitate training and technical assistance, including hygiene audits and product use presentations.
  • Create and update customer data files.
  • Collaborate with technical marketing, R&D, regulatory, and sales teams.
  • Negotiate prices, volume targets, and financial terms.
  • Provide sales forecasts and contribute to budget setting.
  • Monitor market trends, fluctuations, and competitor activities.
  • Communicate market insights internally.
  • Oversee local MPP Industrial business activities and team.

Knowledge and Experience :

  • Master's Degree in Chemistry, Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of successful sales in the chemical or related industries.
  • Knowledge of the industrial biocides sector and experience with biocides regulation.
  • Previous team management or coordination experience.
  • Willingness to travel within Italy and EMEA region.
  • Native Italian speaker, fluent in English.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Result-oriented approach.
