Key job responsibilities

We are looking for an independent and organized senior risk manager with a strong background in product safety, compliance, project, and program management. The role requires problem-solving skills, ownership, the ability to communicate with leadership and stakeholders, and strong influencing skills. Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with legal, compliance, and business teams to drive programs around product safety and compliance.
• Identifying gaps, proposing mitigation actions, managing escalations, and making trade-offs.
• Communicating goals, responsibilities, issues, and status clearly to internal and external partners.
• Influencing across teams to drive program deliverables and presenting complex information concisely in English.
• Partnering with internal stakeholders such as Product, Technology, Legal, PR, and Public Policy, as well as external stakeholders.
• Conducting complex data analysis to inform strategy.
• Improving investigative strategies to prevent and mitigate risk.
• Presenting risk areas with data and mitigation suggestions.

We are open to hiring in Luxembourg, Milan, or Munich offices.

About the team

The EU Trustworthy Listings team is part of the broader EU Trustworthy Shopping Experience team. We ensure that all products offered in Europe across Amazon's channels are safe and compliant with legal requirements, leveraging technical expertise and technological solutions to serve Amazon's business, suppliers, and customers.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Experience in compliance, audit, or risk management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree or equivalent.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
• Experience with technology, lean principles, or Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes.
