The UKA Group is one of the leading project developers for renewable energies in Germany. UKA’s project pipeline in all its markets currently exceeds 19 gigawatts. In addition, the Group’s asset management subsidiary UKB handles the technical and commercial management of wind and PV farms in Germany.

Let’s work together towards a successful energy transition. We are looking for a Renewable Energy Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) at our office in Rome.

Responsibilities:

• Electrical Design of PV Plants and Wind Farms and electrical interconnection infrastructures (HVOL, HVUL, and substations).
• Perform technical feasibility assessments of solar PV plants.
• Design all aspects of Solar PV projects, including resource assessment, layout tradeoffs, equipment selection, civil works, electrical infrastructures (internal electrical lines, MV/HV OL and UL, and substations).
• Prepare plot and expropriation lists (piano particellare).
• Develop and sign all technical documentation for administrative authorization and municipal licenses.
• Liaise with external consultants for project design and technical due diligences.
• Prepare technical drawings detailing land affected for land lease contracts.

Candidate Profile:

• MSc degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in renewables design and electrical infrastructures.
• Experience in preparing administrative and executive projects for photovoltaic plants, substations, and electrical lines.
• Experience with technical documentation for grid access and connection requests (STMG & STMD).
• Team player with advanced knowledge of PVsyst, PVCase, pvDesign, Civil 3D, Autocad, QGIS.
• Willingness to travel.
• Languages: Italian and English (C1 level).
