Klk Oleo in Lombardy, Milano area seeks a Senior Regulatory Affairs Expert to drive regulatory compliance and product stewardship across Europe. You will support systems, monitor EU regulations, and provide guidance to cross-location teams.

The role requires a chemistry/related degree and 5+ years in regulatory affairs, with strong REACH/CLP knowledge and fluent Italian and English. You’ll join a multinational, collaborative environment with a clear path to impact and growth.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry, chemical Eng, toxicology or related field.
• At least five years of regulatory affairs experience in industrial or chemical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of REACH, CLP and other EU regulations.
• Experience with Dangerous Goods regulations is a plus.
• Excellent Italian and English communication; other languages helpful.

Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

As a Senior Regulatory Affairs Expert, you will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance and product stewardship across our European operations. Your main responsibilities include:

• Supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Regulatory Affairs and Product Stewardship systems.
• Monitoring and assessing regulatory developments related to chemical products, environmental protection, health, and safety requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, including product classification, labeling, packaging, and registration requirements.
• Providing regulatory guidance and support to various business functions and production sites across Europe.
• Acting as a point of contact for authorities, industry associations, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Supporting REACH compliance activities and other regulatory initiatives within the organization.
• Participating in REACH consortia and external industry working groups relevant to our product portfolio.
• Collaborating closely with international and cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of regulatory processes, standards, and best practices.

Anforderungen

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Toxicology, or a related scientific discipline.
• At least five years of professional experience in Regulatory Affairs within an industrial or chemical manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of chemical regulations, including REACH, CLP, and other relevant European legislation.
• Knowledge of toxicology and ecotoxicology would be an advantage.
• Experience with Dangerous Goods regulations is considered a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in Italian and English; additional language skills such as German, French, or Dutch are advantageous.
• The ability to communicate and implement regulatory requirements effectively across different stakeholders.
• A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in an international and intercultural environment.
• Experience working within a matrix organization and across multiple locations.
• A valid work permit and the right to work and reside in Italy.
