We are looking for a talented Quality Engineer to join our team, supporting supplier quality and continuous improvement initiatives within our Power Generation business in Peschiera Borromeo (MI), Italy.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role that involves domestic and international travel to audit and assess supplier sites, ensuring excellence in product quality and process compliance.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead and support supplier quality improvement initiatives using industry best practices such as APQP, Six Sigma, and statistical quality tools.
  • Perform supplier audits to ensure compliance with engineering, quality, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to optimize manufacturing processes and validate production capabilities.
  • Apply root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methods to drive corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
  • Support the supplier selection process with quality input and risk assessments.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, internal teams, and external customers to drive alignment and performance.
  • Contribute to the development of robust, zero-defect manufacturing processes and systems that meet customer and business expectations.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical/scientific field.
  • Proven experience in Quality Engineering, ideally in a manufacturing or power generation environment.
  • Solid knowledge of quality systems, statistical analysis, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), engineering standards, and production technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Fluent in English and Italian (both written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel within Italy and internationally for supplier visits and audits.
  • Knowledge of data center or energy-related sectors is a plus.
