NTT DATA Europe & Latam is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 5–7 years of software testing experience to design, implement, and execute automated tests for web and mobile applications. You will collaborate across cross‑functional teams to shape test plans and improve testing processes.

You will develop scripts using Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript, leveraging Playwright, Appium, Selenium, and Cucumber, while integrating with CI/CD pipelines and Scrum practices.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics or similar field required.
• 5–7 years of software testing experience.
• Strong programming in Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Experience with automated testing tools (Playwright, Appium, Selenium).
• Experience with Cucumber; automation testing with Java for web apps and APIs.
• Proficient in Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit; Git and Maven.
• CI/CD knowledge with Jenkins or similar tools; debugging logs.
• ISTQB Foundation level desirable; Scrum/Agile knowledge; good English.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools
• Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand software requirements and design comprehensive test plans
• Execute and analyze automated test results, identifying and reporting issues and defects
• Work closely with manual testing teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Participate in the identification and implementation of test automation best practices
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process by providing feedback on areas of improvement
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in test automation tools and methodologies

What You'll Bring Along

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics/ or similar field of study/or equivalent working experience is required
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience within software testing area
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript
• Experience with automated testing tools, such as Playwright, Appium, or similar
• Experience with Cucumber
• Proven experience in automation testing using Java for web applications and APIs
• Proficient in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven)
• Familiarity with continuous integration/delivery pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, analyze log files, and work with developers to resolve defects
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools
• ISTQB (or equivalent) Foundation Level certification is desirable
• Knowledge of Scrum, Agile is essential
• Good speaking capability in English
