Job summary

SET Europa seeks an experienced Python Developer to build an AI-driven document analysis platform. You will implement AI-powered applications using LLMs, RAG, and AI agents, build ingestion pipelines with OCR and PDF parsing, and design robust retrieval systems.

The role requires hands-on work with embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and prompt engineering, while ensuring data governance and security across the platform.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in Python development or software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience developing AI applications using LLMs and RAG.
• Experience with AI agents and agent-based workflows.
• Experience with embeddings, vector databases and semantic search.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and LLM evaluation techniques.
• Experience processing unstructured documents incl. PDFs and OCR.
• Familiarity with AI security, governance and data protection principles.
• Good command of English.
• EU citizenship is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI-powered applications using Python, LLMs, RAG architecture, and AI agents.
• Design provider-agnostic interfaces for LLMs and embedding models.
• Build document ingestion pipelines including PDF parsing, OCR and vector indexing.
• Implement hybrid retrieval systems combining semantic and keyword search.
• Develop AI agents with structured inputs, schemas, and validated outputs.
• Integrate embedding models and vector databases into AI apps.
• Design evaluation frameworks for retrieval quality and LLM performance.
• Optimize prompts and workflows for accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with AI security, governance and data residency.
• Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into AI solutions.
• Produce clear technical documentation.
