We are looking for a Regional Senior Projects Controller who will report to the Projects Controlling Manager and will be part of the PowerLink Finance team, based in Milano. The candidate will be responsible for all controlling activities related to the assigned projects.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

In particular, he/she will manage the following activities:

1. Deployment and maintenance of the detailed projects’ budget in cooperation with the Project Managers.
2. Periodic analysis and explanation of the financial performance of the projects (both P&L and cash profile).
3. Monthly updates of the projects’ budgets in view of the monthly financial closure and forecasting.
4. Coordinate responses to external auditors.
5. Support Project Managers in preparing variation order requests to customers.
6. Preparation of invoices to customers and checking of cash collections.
7. Coordination of activities related to the monthly closure of the legal entity.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduation in Economics, Accounting, or Management Engineering.
• Knowledge of SAP, especially FI / CO / PS modules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Experience and Soft Skills

• At least 3-4 years as a Business Controller, preferably within a project-based company (EPCI) or experience in audit firms supporting client projects.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate proactively and autonomously with attention to detail.
• Flexibility and ability to work within a team, under pressure, with several deadlines.
