We are looking for a new Senior Project Manager, who will be reporting directly to the Head of Project & Pipeline Management Department.

Our team is inspired by the goal to improve outcomes for those with unmet medical needs and is focused on helping people affected by cancer and manage their health with life-changing products that provide innovative therapeutic options.

While our headquarters are in Florence, Italy, we welcome applicants from across the EU, offering flexibility in location to ensure we harness the best talent from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Lead Asset Development teams toward predefined objectives, spearheading activities across various functions to meet program goals in scope, budget, and schedule.

Communicate effectively across all levels of our organization, working hand in hand with executive staff and fellow Asset Development team members to foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Establish and maintain project and Asset Documentation (History File)

Identifying objectives, strategy, risks and risk mitigation, effort estimates and schedule for new asset development

Giving due consideration to team capabilities, organizational capabilities

Supporting the budgeting process of the business and managing projects within the allocated budget for the plan execution.

Identify opportunities for enhancing program performance in collaboration with the Global Program Head and functional team leaders / representatives.

Provide mentorship and management to Project Management resources, fostering a safe, professional, and inclusive work environment.

Ensure seamless communication and collaboration across all stakeholders, empowering asset development teams with the information needed to excel in their roles.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a Science discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Extensive experience in Oncology project direction within the pharmaceutical R&D industry, coupled with a strong understanding of regulations governing new oncology product development.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence team dynamics, and streamline product development processes.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree / PhD in scientific disciplines, coupled with experience in product development with oncology IVD / CDx products.

Familiarity with agile development methodology, coupled with the ability to thrive in a matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Proven ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, coupled with strong organizational and planning skills.

Possession of a Project Management certification and experience working within a broader enterprise / cross-division business unit model.
