The Senior Project Manager will report directly to the Construction Director and will be responsible for:

1. Managing a project from inception to completion, ensuring that it is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
2. Undertaking site surveys to establish local conditions which impact design, as well as researching local supply costs for the project budget.
3. Working with the design & engineering team to review all project documents and information provided by a client/developer and throughout the design process.
4. Working with the project director to prepare a detailed project budget, which needs to be closely monitored throughout the life of the project.
5. Developing a detailed programme of works (PoW) to track progress.
6. Preparation of suppliers’ and subcontractors’ contracts.
7. Managing and supervising site engineers & subcontractors PoW and scope.
8. Ensuring appropriate availability and allocation of resources.
9. Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly progress reports both internally and for our clients.
10. Managing project implementation activities, ensuring QHSE standards are met.
11. Performing risk assessments on the project and proactively solving any matters encountered on site in conjunction with the site Engineer (escalating to the project director if required).
12. Reporting to the project director any deviations from the PoW, budget or scope.
13. Managing the relationship with the client, suppliers and subcontractors, as well as internal teams.
14. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
15. Handing over the project to the internal O&M team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Languages: Italian mother tongue; professionally fluent in English.
• Minimum Experience: Minimum 4 years of PV construction management experience.
• Skills: Strong technical solar background, large utility scale solar experience essential, BESS experience ideal.
• Programs/Tools: Good Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Desirable:

• Availability to travel between various construction sites in Italy.
• Spanish not strictly required but a great plus.
