For our Italian Branch located in Caponago (MB) we are seeking a committed and proactive:

Senior Project Manager

A worldwide leader in reciprocating compressors is looking for a resource with 5-10 years of technical and commercial experience in mechanical machinery, preferably rotating equipment.

The position is part of our System Division and will be the main responsible person for the execution of projects related to the supply of Compressor Systems from order to effective handover for operation to the client.

The main tasks will be:

• Together with the Sales Engineer, responsible for the success of the assigned project or project portion.
• Responsible for relationship with the customer.
• Responsible for project team coordination, assignment of tasks to PEs, SPEs ensuring the completeness of project execution, the optimization of manhours spent, and quality of deliverables.
• Defines the internal reporting rhythm and procedure with PEs and other functions.
• Responsible for design and function of the plant in accordance with specifications.
• Direct owner of multidisciplinary technical documentation (P&IDs, General Arrangements, Foundation drawings, Compressor Datasheet, Functional Description, etc.) and can decide to delegate them to PE/SPE based on his experience and team member experience.
• Deep risk management capabilities including a clear understanding of needs and drivers both internally and on the customer side.
• Responsible for overall project risk management, quality, time, cost control of the assigned projects including planning, expediting, and progress reporting externally and internally.

Candidate Profile:

• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• SAP knowledge and usage.
• Bachelor/Master engineering degree.
• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role and similar markets (preferably reciprocating compressor).
• Negotiation skills (technical and commercial).
