Job summary

Amazon in Italy is seeking a Senior Project Engineering Manager to drive innovation, standardization, and expansion in the AMZL logistics network across Italy and potentially other EU locations. You will manage deployments including greenfield launches, MHE re-layouts, retrofits, and building improvements with a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, or marketing.
• Experience with lean/Six Sigma to drive process improvements.
• Experience implementing repeatable processes and automation/standardization.
• Experience in program or project management.
• MS Office proficiency (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of data-focused tools (Python, SQL, Alteryx, QuickSight).
• Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership.
• Fluent Italian and English (C1+).

Responsibilities

• Manage deployment projects in AMZL delivery stations in Italy and possibly EU.
• Lead greenfield launches, MHE layouts, and retrofits of automated solutions.
• Oversee full project lifecycle from equipment ordering and layout validation to SAT and handover.
• Coordinate with functions to provide trade-off solutions and meet guidelines.
• Validate stakeholder designs and requirements and address deficiencies to maintain schedules.
• Identify process inefficiencies and proactively drive improvements at country/EU level.
